Transitional Age Living Homes

Transitional Age Living Homes (TALH), formerly called SMART, is a housing program for young adults ages 24 and under that are homeless or at-risk of homelessness. The program is designed to prevent homelessness and support young adults as they prepare for independence. While enrolled in the program, young adults are also provided with additional services such as: assistance completing high school and/or college, assistance with job skills and getting employment, opening a personal savings account, credit building, and transportation needs. Program staff will work with the enrolled young adults to reach permanent housing by the time they turn 25 years of age.
